Former Chelsea and current Tottenham manager, Andre Villas-Boas has slammed the Blues for what he calls lack of long term planning. The Portuguese lasted only 9 months at the Chelsea hot seat before he was replaced by his assistant Roberto di Matteo..
AVB known for his criticism of his former employers has
again berated the club singling out owner Roman Abramovich for not knowing what
is best for Chelsea in the long run.
"There are no plans at Chelsea, it's results that
rule," Villas-Boas said in The Sun.
"There are times in football when it's easier to
replace the coach.
"But when you embrace a project you believe in people.
There was a commitment from Abramovich and his word was given.
"Yet there was a premature departure."
Villas-Boas is enjoying the stability of life at White Hart
Lane, having taken charge in the summer, and is happy with the way the season
is progressing.
He added: "We're achieving what we've been asked to
achieve.
"We are still in the Europa League and third in the Premier League"
